🔵 Barack Obama: "Part of what we're going to have to do is to start experimenting with new forms of journalism and how we use social media.

By the way, it will require some government regulatory constraints around some of these business models in a way that's consistent with the First Amendment."

🔵 Jen Psaki:"You shouldn't be banned from one platform and not others if you are providing misinformation out there."

🔵 Tim Walz : "There's no guarantee to free speech on misinformation or hate speech, especially around our democracy."

🔵 Hillary Clinton: "There are Americans engaged in this kind of propaganda, and whether they should be civilly or even criminally charged is something that would be a better deterrent."

🔵 John Kerry: "If people go to only one source, and the source they go to is sick and has an agenda, they're putting out disinformation. Our First Amendment stands as a major block. It's really hard to govern today.

🔵 Liberal Committee: "The First Amendment is not absolute. It does not protect everything anyone says, and there are limits, and that’s important.
What this committee has been trying to do for the last year and a half is to chill the federal government from monitoring what's going on on social media.
