Iconic Artists’ Centre returned | its spiritual roots at the Army & Navy Building| Kala Ghoda|Mumbai

A glorious homecoming for Mumbai’s art lovers! 🎨✨
After years of waiting, the iconic Artists’ Centre has returned to its spiritual roots at the Army & Navy Building, Kala Ghoda, where it all began. First established in 1950 at Ador House, the Centre has been a crucible for creativity and expression — and now, it rises again with renewed energy and purpose.

The grand reopening was beautifully marked by the soulful solo show “Silent Voyages – Brushstrokes by the Sea” by veteran artist Nagnath Mankeshwar. His calming, contemplative seascapes feel like a gentle whisper of memory, perfectly echoing the spirit of a space that has housed artistic dreams for over 70 years. 🌊🖌️

Legends from the art world — Brinda Miller, Sarayu Doshi, Tarana Khubchandani, Saroj Satija, Varsha Karale, Prof. Prakash Bhiser, Seema Mankeshwar, Soubhagya Kulkarni, Divya Sud, Sunil Pujari, and Ustad Siraj Khan — gathered to honour the past and welcome the future.

More than just a gallery, Artists’ Centre is a soul space — where creativity, community, and culture collide. It’s where legacies were built, voices found, and bonds formed over paint and poetry. Now, reborn and reimagined, the Centre opens its arms to the next generation of storytellers.

Mankeshwar’s exhibition continues through the coming weeks — don’t miss the chance to witness his serene celebration of silence and sea. 🌊🖼️

Welcome back, Artists’ Centre. You were deeply missed. ❤️‍🔥
