Mitsubishi Challenger - Will It Run? (1980 Dodge Colt Challenger)

This is a 1980 Dodge (Colt) Challenger which was a captive import of a Mitsubishi Galant Lambda. My father purchased this with the engine disassembled for the sum of $50 back in the 90's. The previous owner had abandoned it at the garage as the repairs needed were more than the car was worth at the time. When I moved out on my own, I doubled dad's money by paying him $100 for this car, finishing the repairs, and it was my first daily driver that was 100% my ownership and responsibility. A couple of years later I bought a much newer, nicer, and more expensive car, and just let this one sit around for the past 20 years.

Now I not only want to get it running again but back on the road as it's a neat little car. Prior to filming this video I had just assumed the engine was seized, but here we will see how much life is left in her.

This will be an ongoing series with the goal of passing inspection, getting registered, insured, and dependable enough to be a daily driver again.
