This is a fanvid of an original story I really, really love and am invested in. It is a GxG, New Age fantasy story about an antiheroine vampire (fancast: Florence Pugh).

This story is a breath of fresh air with a quirky tone. One of things I really love about it is how inclusive it is. For decades, we never had stories (be it in a movie, TV show, or book) with good representation, let alone actual representation! Nowadays we do get to see some POC or other cultures and ethnicities on screen or in a book, or a story that has LGBTQ+ representation - however - I feel they aren't always done well or with much sensitivity. The stories can sometimes be very heteronormative, still.

This story, I feel, handles representation in a sensitive manner, and does not fail in its delivery of inclusivity.

Where I have stumbled upon some books which had representation, I felt the story wasn't captivating, in my opinion. Or I didn't feel the writing was my cup of tea. This story, however, is so interesting. It's mature yet youthful and fun enough which caters well for the intended demographic.
