ZZ Top Dust My Broom on HQ Vinyl with Lyrics in Description

Track 6 from their sixth album "Deguello" released in 1979 copyright Warner Bros. Records. The band began to look for ways to enhance their sound and came up with a great one. All the members learned to play the saxophone and the group became their own horn section, which was brilliant! They were gradually developing the sound that would conquer the charts and the new medium of music videos on MTV in the coming years. It received excellent reviews and reached No. 100 in Australia and No. 24 on Billboard. It achieved Platinum status in the U.S. in 1984. Recorded from the original vinyl. Written by Robert Johnson and produced by Bill Ham. RIP Bill Ham & Dusty Hill. Featuring:

Billy Gibbons - Lead vocals, slide, lead & rhythm guitars & baritone sax
Dusty Hill - Bass, keyboards, tenor sax & background vocals, lead vocal on "Hi Fi Mama"
Frank Beard - Drums, percussion & alto sax

I'm gonna get up in the mornin'
I believe I'll dust my broom
I'm gonna get up in the mornin'
I believe I'll dust my broom
Well, that best gal I been loving
So my friend can have my room

I'm gonna write a letter to China
See if my baby's over there
Yes, I'm gonna write a letter to China
See if my baby's over there
If she ain't over in them Hawaiian Islands
Must be in Ethiopia somewhere

I believe, believe my time ain't long
Yes, I believe, believe my time ain't long
I have to quit my baby
And give up my happy home, hey, hey
