DIY: How to reduce exhaust drone using sound deadening mass loaded vinyl

Very simple How to / DIY for reducing exhaust noise, drone, and increase comfort inside of your car.

In this video I go through how I used mass loaded vinyl (MLV) to reduce the BMW exhaust drone from an aftermarket exhaust in the inside of the cabin of my car an F30 BMW 328i.

When deciding whether or not to install an aftermarket exhaust, one of the major concerns that people have is exhaust drone, comfort in the cabin and exhaust resonance. This was definitely the case for me despite the fact that I was installing this aftermarket exhaust on my turbocharged car. Turbocharged cars are traditionally pretty quiet with the exception of Subaru whereas they have the "Subie-Rumble."

I wanted an exhaust that would bring out the growl within the car but not become overly obnoxious -- both to those inside the car and those outside the car that I drive by.
