About the books: First book is this book by Dante, who is a famous Italian medieval poet. In English the book’s called on eloquence in the vernacular and it talks about the best vernacular among the several spoken in the fragmented Italian peninsula of Dante’s time. It’s really well-preserved and the thing that interests me is its signature, or note of possession. It says Buonarroti, which is the last name of Michelangelo. This is the signature of his nephew--and it is possible that book was once owned by Michelangelo

The second book contains another work by Dante, The Banquet, and it’s also a very old book. But this one was once owned by an Italian poet Torquato Tasso. He is famous for writing a poem that depicts combats between the Christians and Muslims at the end of the First Crusade.
