Don't forget to check your thrift stores and surplus shops! You can find excellent pea coats or tweeds in terrific condition for pennies on the dollar. Just remember to look for natural fabrics like 100% wool, cashmere, or blend of the two. I even have a 100% silk topcoat which is a great transitional piece! Which overcoat will you get?
