How to Tie a Macrame Chinese Lucky knot

It is Chinese New Year this week (Jan 25 - Feb 8th) and it's the biggest celebration of the year for Asian culture.

Chinese New Year is based on the Lunar Calendar and that is why it occurs a few weeks into our calendar year.

It symbolizes new beginnings and a fresh start to the new year, where family and friends gather together and enjoy a big feast.

This week, we will be going over a few DIY Chinese New Year-themed projects.

The knot of the week is the Chinese Good Luck knot.

We will be applying this knot into a macrame tassel coming out later this week on Youtube and then transforming that tassel into a macrame lantern that will available on Patreon at the end of the week.

For this particular knot, it can be a tricky knot to make on the first few attempts, but once you have gotten a few practices, it should be much easier after that.
