ISLAMIC SOURCES OF LAW
Islamic law, known as Shariah, is a comprehensive legal system derived from divine guidance and human interpretation. Primary Sources of Islamic Law
The two fundamental sources of Islamic law are:

It reflects the collective agreement of the Muslim community and serves as a binding source of law.

4. Qiyas (Analogical Reasoning)

Example: Allowing commercial transactions using modern banking methods, even though traditional rules may not cover them directly.

6. Maslahah Mursalah (Public Interest)
Rulings can be based on public welfare if they align with the objectives of Shariah.

Example: Establishing traffic laws to ensure public safety.

7. Urf (Custom)
Established local customs that do not contradict Islamic principles can serve as a source of law.

Example: The acceptance of certain wedding traditions in different Muslim cultures.

Islamic law is not just a legal framework but a complete way of life for Muslims.

It ensures justice, equality, and moral integrity in society.
