Africa could benefit from WTO’s COVID vaccine IP waiver

The World Trade Organization (WTO) has agreed on a deal on patents for COVID-19 vaccines in developing countries at its recently concluded MC12 meeting. Zhang Xiangchen, WTO Deputy Director-General told CGTN's Tian Wei how the agreement could benefit countries with manufacturing capacities in Africa.
