Genomic Technologies and Bioinformatics 101 | Webinar | Ambry Genetics

For more information on genetic testing, visit https://www.ambrygen.com/

Next generation sequencing (NGS) technologies have revolutionized how genetic data are collected and analyzed. Since NGS datasets are fundamentally different than those generated by earlier methods, they require specialized knowledge to generate and work with. This webinar will provide an introductory, high-level overview of how samples are prepared for sequencing by laboratories and how bioinformaticians use the resulting data to answer questions of interest. Examples will be conceptual in nature, and no background in laboratory techniques or bioinformatics is required.

Presented by:
Brice Sarver, PhD
Brooke Overstreet, MS, CGC
