The Joshua Light Show | Insider Interview

New York City has always been a thriving neighborhood of artistic and musical expression. In 1967, Joshua White and the Joshua Light Show were resident artists of the Fillmore East, where they created stunning liquid light shows that were improvised in tandem with live concerts. The Joshua Light show continues to amaze audiences with their work to this day!

We recently sat down with the founder of the light show, Joshua White, as well as John Strausbough, author of "The Village: 400 Years of Beats and Bohemians, Radicals and Rogues," to record their musings on the beginnings of the Joshua Light Show.
