Whether you’re looking for a relaxing drive-and-survive fishing holiday or chasing the carp of a lifetime, each swim has its own character, its own challenges, and its own rewards.

Starting with Swim One, The Shallows. Don’t let the name fool you. As the shallowest area of the lake, it’s often overlooked by visiting anglers, yet it has produced carp to an impressive 48 pounds. A natural holding area during warmer conditions, it’s a swim that consistently rewards those willing to think differently.

Swim Two, Island Swim, is a favourite for anglers who enjoy fishing tight to features. The key areas lie just behind the island and along the far margins, where carp regularly patrol under the cover of overhanging vegetation.

Moving on to Swim Three, Mick’s Swim. One of the lake’s most productive areas, this swim gives anglers access to water in front of the island and all the way across to the far willow. It’s a proven hotspot that regularly produces action throughout the season.

At the heart of the lake sits Swim Four, The Social. Located beside our central social kitchen, this swim perfectly combines comfort and opportunity. Productive far-margin fishing means you never have to sacrifice your chances while enjoying the atmosphere of the lake.

Swim Five, The Windmill, is one of the venue’s most iconic swims. With productive spots around the windmill feature and the dead tree stump, it offers anglers multiple areas to target carp moving around the lake.

Next is Swim Six, The Monk. A consistent producer throughout the year, anglers here can focus on the far corner and the monk itself, two areas that regularly hold feeding fish and have accounted for many memorable captures.

Finally, Swim Seven, John’s Corner. Although it covers a smaller area of water, its greater depth makes it a real edge during changing conditions. The productive right-hand margins leading towards the monk are well-known patrol routes for some of the lake’s residents.
