The Nechung Monks perform various ceremonies for all living beings in general and particularly for the longevity of H.H.the Dalai Lama and the well-being of the Tibetan Government.
Nechung monks were famous in upholding the tradition in cultural arts and in particular the art of embroidery and applique. Sacred art has always played an important role in Tibetan Buddhist culture. Among the varieties of Tibetan sacred art, the silk and brocade thangka.
Bodhipanya Bells offering
This is the continuation from chapter I and chapter II bells offering lead by Dr. Buathon Thienarrom. The chapter 3 of Bells offering which is call “Bodhipanya” as the great Sanskrit meaning of Bodhi refers to enlightenment and Panya is the wisdom.
In Buddhist tradition, we have such great belief that offers the bells will bring us ripple of reputation and wisdom. But for us, we would rather look at the bells’ resonance that heal body and mind, since people are now looking for peace within themselves, and religious institution in providing the ambience to facilitate this true meaning.
With a great intention, this chapter 3 Bells offering will co-host by dedicated Samadhita team, and we will offer 8 bells for the monasteries as propagation of Buddha teaching.
This is a great time for us to gather and walk this journey together, and we are very happy to announce the identified monastery as following:
