🚨 Student visa cancelled at Perth Airport

A 24-year-old Swiss national had her student visa cancelled after attempting to bring 2,520 undeclared cigarettes into Australia.

She declared she was not carrying more than 25 cigarettes that declaration was false.

Australian Border Force seized the goods, refused her entry, and cancelled her visa under section 116 of the Migration Act 1958. She may now face an exclusion period of up to 3 years.
