My #1 reason for visiting Liverpool was to experience all things Beatles and I couldn't have been happier with our Fab Four Taxi Tour with our excellent guide Eddie Connor. My girlfriend and I took a private 5 hour tour of all the main Beatles sights-the childhood homes of The Beatles, where they wrote their songs, where they were born, and Penny Lane. What made this an amazing tour was our guide, Eddie. He's not just a tour guide; he's an historian and a storyteller. He told us such intimate stories of The Beatles, you'd think he was best friends with all of them! He not only told us stories that I was unaware of, but he showed us many photographs and documents that are part of Beatles history. It was so exciting to walk where John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr walked and made history. As a Beatles fanatic, this was a tour that I will never forget and I highly, highly recommend you take the tour with Eddie if you visit Liverpool.
