3/19/2017 Strv Game

I found this random game recording while cleaning out my hard drive.

I don't really remember why I recorded this. You can hear a brief exchange between Blasko and me at the beginning of the game about me having quit World of Tanks a couple months prior, though if I recall correctly I would continue streaming and playing for a while to get footage for World of Danks 3. This is an OBS recording, so my best guess as to why it exists is that I was testing OBS settings for recording gameplay footage. I'd previously used Fraps to record WoT replays, and while I liked that it recorded raw, uncompressed footage, the codec it recorded that footage with had a bad habit of acting up in Vegas and creating random video artifacts (like the one at about 1:48 in the E25 Unicum Guide).

What a classic WoT game too - an idiot pubbie throws his life away for no reason and loses the game for his whole team. In hindsight, I probably shouldn't have charged off the cap afterwards, but the O-I pissed away our cap advantage. I probably thought I'd have better odds with the Jackson if I got closer and spotted him rather than letting him and arty take a free shot at me first.
