This little shop in Tokyo, Japan sells traditional Japanese carpentry tools from artisans all over Japan. The store was opened by the Inoue Family over 100 years ago supplying carpenters (Daiku) with much needed tools and cutlery. "Hamono" means cutlery in Japanese.
The store is conveniently located in Sumida City in Tokyo with metered parking available right outside the front door. The owner speaks some English and they take credit cards.
This is a great stop for anyone interested in traditional Japanese carpentry tools.
