Memories of The Playroom - Kaz Roe
In this story Kaz Roe talks of her memories of growing up on the Gold Coast as the daughter of Beryl and Claude Carnell, the original builders and owners of The Playroom. Kaz reflects on the history of The Playroom and on the period when her mother took over the sole running of the music venue and it changed from being a sit down cabaret including dinner and shows to a rock 'n' roll venue.
