Today the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) released its 403-page report titled "Opportunities to Improve Federal Response and Recovery Efforts" in which it pointed out all the mistakes the government made in rolling out the various relief programs in response to COVID-19.
One of those mistakes the government made is neglecting to pay 450,000 Americans the $500 stimulus owed to them for their qualifying children.
I talk about what the GAO found as well as what the IRS may do to correct this in the near future.
So if your stimulus check was missing payment for your qualifying children under the age of 17, you'll want to know what the GAO had to say.
