Adult jumps on the mat, disrupting a Nyssa wrestler’s match in Idaho

A match featuring a Nyssa High School wrestler was met with controversy on Saturday, Jan. 20, when an adult, identified later as a parent and coach, jumped onto the mat to stop the action mid-match.

The wrestling took place at Skyview High School in Nampa, Idaho. But the Nyssa dual itself was against Rocky Mountain High School, which is located in Meridian, Idaho.
