How to ACTUALLY use credit card points for business class flights

If you’re looking to book a business class flight with points remember:

1️⃣ Check to see which transfer partners are available for the travel credit card you’re looking at ✈️ You’ll have more flexibility when booking if you transfer directly to the airline you’ll be flying with vs an airline partner

2️⃣ Most travel credit cards have sign on bonuses, so see what your minimum spend will be and if it makes sense for your financial situation ‼️ For me, I just all my day to day expenses on the card and then pay it off in full every month 💳

3️⃣ Check these 2 things before you transfer your points because you can’t transfer them back ‼️ Make sure that…

☝🏻 You have enough points because sometimes it’s not a 1:1 redemption between your credit card and the airline points

✌🏻 There are business class seats available on the flight you want

You’ll need to create an account with the airline to do the above as well as transfer your points. Good news is that it’s FREE to do so 🤩

4️⃣ Once you’ve done all of the above, you can go through your credit card portal and transfer the points to your airline account to book!
