A political development has taken place in Delhi regarding the Shiv Sena (UBT) faction.

Shiv Sena UBT Lok Sabha MP Arvind Sawant met Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and raised concerns over recent political developments.

He said that several Shiv Sena MPs had left the Uddhav Thackeray-led faction and joined another political group.

Along with MP Anil Desai, he had earlier submitted a request to the Speaker regarding this issue.

He stated that they urged the Speaker to ensure constitutional procedures are followed in such matters.

According to him, they also requested that their side be heard before any decision is taken.
