Here is the essential packing list for trekking in Nepal.

PACKING LIST FOR TREKKING NEPAL
Head:
• Sun hat
• Warm fleece hat
• Sunglasses with UV protection
Lower Body:
• Under Garments
• Thermal trousers or leggings
• Long hiking pants
• Shorts (optional)
Feet:
• Thick, warm wool hiking socks (at least 4 pairs)
• Hiking soes
• Walking shoes (for lodges and as a spare pair in case of emergency)
Upper Body (3 or 4 layer clothing system):
• Hiking Tshirts
• Fleece/pullover
• Rain & waterproof trekking jacket
• Down jacket
Accessories:
• Sleeping bag (rated to -20 DC if camping outdoors or -2 if planning to sleep in lodges)
• Daypack (approximately 35-60ltr)
• Gloves
• Daypack
• Duffle bag and smaller daypack if going with a porter
• Water bottle
• Hiking poles (optional depending on preference)
• Microfiber towel
• Blister kit
• Sunscreen and lip balm
• Toilet paper and wet wipes
• Soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, razor, shaving cream
• Dollars in cash (for expenses and visa entry fee)
Medicines
• Chlorine Tablets for water purification (can be bought in Kathmandu)
• Dexamethasone (in case of high altitude sickness)
• Paracetamol
