About the Video:
One of the world’s leading diversified natural resources companies and a subsidiary of Vedanta Resources Ltd., Vedanta Limited is delisting from BSE and NSE with a floor price of ₹87.25. the company is a leading producer of Zinc, Lead, Oil and Gas, Copper, Silver, Power, Aluminium, Iron Ore and Steel. The Vedanta delisting bidding period is from October 5th to October 9th 2020. This means that the reverse book building process is already ongoing and the shareholders can tender their shares. Among the various institutional investors, the largest shareholder with 6.4% is LIC followed by ICICI Prudential at 4.8%, HDCF Equity Fund with 3% and Citi Bank with 4.37%.
The Vedanta delisting news was confirmed with an official announcement on 12th May 2020 wherein they announced the decision to delist the Indian company from all the stock exchanges.
