At Piedmont Heart’s iMAGINE 3-D Echo 360 Conference in Atlanta, Stephen Little, M.D. from Houston Methodist DeBakey Heart & Vascular Center talks about guideline gaps for quantifying mitral regurgitation (MR). He outlines the top areas of challenges when applying the guidelines and highlights them with case studies. New guidelines released in Spring 2017 by the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) will provide a comprehensive update to guide clinicians in best practices for assessing all forms of valvular regurgitation.
