The Gold Diggers - Le Soffiatrici Del Vetro (G. Sturmann)

The Diggs played live on the last February, 28th 2015, featuring Original Songs by Renzo Cozzani, Giovanni Sturmann and Rudi Veo,
all written in italian language. This is a song I wrote about a distant time in my birth town, Trieste on the north-eastern side of Italy. There after the War, in the years between 1945 and 1954 the city was a Free Territory and my grandad living there since I don't know, started a factory to produce the very small Xmas Tree lights, counting on the promised support of Marshall Plan. Things went bad and he closed in spite of the special help from his glass-blower women. This is a story I usually heard at home, since I was five.
The Diggs are: Giancarlo Caligiani (drums), Renzo Cozzani (vocals, guitars), Simone Fioravanti (bass), Giovanni Sturmann (vocals, guitars), Rudi Veo (vocals, harp, keyboards).
