GlidArc plasma assisted tar scrubber ECP France transforms tars from pyrolysis or gasification

Crude pyrolysis gas from wood is very rich in tars. YELLOW FLAME means tars and soot. This "dirty" gas goes through a plasma assisted scrubber for on line tar removal. It results in a perfectly clean syngas (BLUE FLAME) , mostly hydrogen H2 , carbon monoxide CO, CO2, steam water and small amount of nitrogen N2. It is ready to feed an engine or other uses. Cleaning does not affect the initial heating value of the crude gas. It transforms the tars in CO and H2. This process enriches initial gas in CO and H2. Initial CO and H2 stays unchanged. Same process is used for tars removal from gasifier gasification.
