With Anitra Nelson, Australian author and activist, Duncan Stewart, TV presenter and environmentalist, Sean McCabe from the TASC Climate Justice Centre, and Fran Whitlock from GEN Europe in discussion on the possible role that ecovillages play in the low carbon transition.

Anitra Nelson is an Australian author and activist who has written extensively on housing and the low-carbon transition and who has visited our ecovillage. Her book Small Is Necessary: Shared Living on a Shared Planet, features examples from a range of countries on how ‘eco-collaborative housing’ can address the great social, economic and sustainability challenges that we face today.
Duncan Stewart is an award-winning architect and television producer and a leading Irish advocate for climate action and community.
Sean McCabe is the Executive Manager of the TASC Climate Justice Centre working on a participative decision-making mode that gives people and communities ownership of the transition to a zero carbon society.

Fran Whitlock is the Communications Manager of Global Ecovillage Network Europe. From 2019 to 2021 she was a council member and Co-President of ECOLISE.eu - The European Network of Community-Led Initiatives for Climate Action and Sustainability.

Through exchanging different views of the subject, this webinar enriches our understanding of the major challenges we all face in moving to a low-carbon society.
