Stronghold HD - Military Campaign - Speedrun (2:20:48)

Welcome to my speedrun of the Stronghold military campaign, where I show how to beat the current world record by more than 13 minutes. I did not record this run in one go, so this is more of a personal best compilation rather than a legit record attempt! I just wanted to give you some ideas how to beat some missions faster :-)

I did not use any glitches on this speedrun and even if I did, they would not have helped much. The castle in mission 12 can be captured 12 seconds earlier and mission 16 can be finished at least 18 seconds faster but that's it. You may check out Sixtoo's run on speedrun.com to see how he uses glitches to his advantage. He has an interesting approach to win mission 21, but it doesn't save him any time at the moment...

Besides that, it was nice to not care about the score for a change. It allowed me to recruit some melee troops which I have never done in any of my previous videos and which I probably will never do again thanks to my 0% loss expectations ;-)
