My Dance Story | Happy International Dance Day 2022

Dance is often referred to as a form of art, one where grace, poise, and elegance amalgamate with strength, endurance, and confidence to create scenes of breathtaking beauty. There exists no lie in this statement, but there exists the absence of a rather indispensable aspect of dance: The creation of this art form into livelihood. The unbreakable bond that dance creates to make you feel like you were born to pursue the art. The days where you strive to become better. The moments where dance becomes a harbinger of money, respect, and most importantly, unparalleled joy and content.
Dance is so much more than just an art form.
And to be able to practice, perform, learn, and teach the very art form I live for makes me extremely happy. And perhaps it is the greatest joy, after all, to dwell into art so deep that that art becomes your life.
For me, that art is dance.
