Was strumming around today and came up with this progression I think sounds pretty cool. Chords are simple, just G, D, A, Bm (the key is D). I got a request to show how to make up lyrics. Basically, I start humming and playing on my guitar until I heard some melodies and vocals that I like, then I'll start to repeat those and get some themes going.
If you've never heard of Beefs TV, it's a fun channel for surfing / skimboarding stuff. I mention it at the end of the video for anyone who hasn't heard of it. Even if you're not into surfing etc it's a fun channel.
