Kyoto is a city in Japan that was the capital for more than 1,000 years.

When you imagine the scenery... what do you see?
Would it be the spectacular sights of the shrines and temples?
The traditional streets with the maiko walking in their beautiful kimono?

Although these are all things that can actually be enjoyed, there are a few things that can be quite different from what most people imagine.
