The 996 hustle exists because people feel like the window is closing. But zoom out and the picture looks different. AI has already collapsed the cost of solid software engineering. That same pattern is about to roll through manufacturing, healthcare, logistics, and everything else. Some sectors will feel it in two or three years. Others, stuck on legacy thinking, might take a decade or two. Either way, the direction is the same. Things get cheaper, better, and more accessible.
