⚜️💀Exploring the NEW ORLEANS VOODOO TAROT ~ Review and Flip-Through

The recent BLM protests and fiery attacks upon systemic racism have been remarkable for bringing to light the lack of black and brown representation in our culture. The world of Tarot is no different.

For many years now many of us in the Tarot world have pointed out and discussed the lack of diversity in deck images, and yes it has gotten better in recent years. However, we do have a ways to go.

This month, I wanted to finally explore a deck I purchased years ago called the New Orleans Voodoo Tarot. I was so excited to get it, but I wanted to do it justice, so I told myself I would open it when I thoroughly studied the New Orleans Voodoo pantheon so that I could use it properly.  I did study, but not as thoroughly as I wanted, so I always felt as though I was unprepared to even open it. I know. I'm such a nerd.  :-)
