HOW TO FIX S2000 SOFT TOP

My soft top recently developed a tear on it. Here's the steps I took to fix it before it got any worse. Enjoy!

MATERIALS:
1. VINYL PATCH MATERIAL

Note: I do not recommend the material I bought because it is rigid and has an adhesive backing that will not cut it. Any other piece of soft vinyl should do.
2. RTV Silicone
- where I bought: http://goo.gl/i44BP0
3. 3M Leather and Vinyl Repair Kit
- where I bought: http://goo.gl/bVh79z

STEPS:
1. Clean the area where the tear is of dust and debris.
2. Apply RTV Silicone to the back of a piece of vinyl.
3. Adhere the vinyl onto the torn area inside the soft top.
4. On the outside, apply 3M Leather and Vinyl Repair according to the instructions provided or this video : https://youtu.be/TAQf0HLXm0Y.
