Transforming Book Production

Bridge Publications, the publishing arm of the Church of Scientology, uses a mix of IT and printing technologies to produce a huge range of hard and softcover books and other materials in some 50 languages. Most of the digital book production is handled by Xerox DocuPrint and iGen 3 digital presses, as related in this interview with company president Blake Silber.
