Writing Chinese characters can feel difficult at the beginning — but once you understand stroke order rules, everything becomes easier.
In this lesson, we learn the foundations of Chinese handwriting.
You will understand how characters are built and how to write them in the correct and natural way, just like native learners practice.
We study four essential stroke order principles step by step:
Horizontal before vertical — 十 (shí)
Left falling before right falling — 人 (rén)
From left to right — 妈 (mā)
From top to bottom — 二 (èr)
During the lesson, we write each character together slowly so beginners can follow and practice.
These rules are extremely important because many Chinese characters follow the same patterns. Once you master them, learning new characters becomes much faster and less confusing.
