"The Forest Walk" [Remastered] - A Multi-Halo OST Mini-Medley/Mix

This video is not monetized, and all pieces used have been trimmed/edited/mixed. Four of the pieces were composed by Martin O'Donnell/Michael Salvatori (of Bungie Studios circa 2001, 2004, 2007, and 2010) for Halos CE, 2, 3, and Reach (respectively); two of the pieces were arranged by Paul Lipson/Lennie Moore/Brian Trifton/Brian Lee White/Tom Salta (of 343 Industries circa 2011 and 2014) for Halos CEA and 2A (respectively); and one of the pieces was composed by Joel Corelitz (of 343 Industries circa 2020 for Halo Infinite. I doubt saying these things will stop potential copyright strikes, but it was worth a shot... :P

Oh my this video has been a long-time coming. The day that 343 released their final soundtrack teaser for Halo Infinite (Through the Trees), you have no idea how happy I was. Of all the tracks I was hoping so see a return of in Infinite, the A Walk in the Woods theme was at the top of that list (just above Under Cover of Night). It’s basically my favorite theme in the games outside of the main Halo theme. Why? I think Joel Corelitz put it best in his interview: “To me, it’s the perfect mood for how it feels to move around in the world of Halo. It perfectly describes its incredible, majestic environments.” [Link to the full interview below] Needless to say, I’m super excited to see this theme return and I can’t wait to see what else the Infinite composers have in store for us in the final game!

Now beyond me simply loving Through the Trees on its own, the same day 343 released it, my original Forest Walk Mini-Medley was flooded with comments asking me to include it in the mix. While I was already planning on doing it the second I heard the track for the first time, I deeply appreciate how people were interested to see the track be added to the Mini-Medley. It was one of the primary motivators for me to keep this project going (despite how long it ended up taking).
