How to Set Up Voicemail in SalesCaptain

When you can't answer a call, voicemail makes sure you never lose a lead. Here's how to set it up. Head into Settings, then Phone, and scroll to the Voicemail section. First, toggle voicemail on. Now choose your greeting — you can upload your own audio file if you have one recorded, or use the built-in text-to-speech tool. Just type your greeting, click generate, and preview it to make sure it sounds right. Next, set up your notifications. Enable email alerts so you get notified the moment someone leaves a message. You can also turn on SMS notifications so the assigned team member gets a text immediately — no voicemail sits unheard for hours. Hit save, and you're all set. All voicemails will appear under the Voicemails tab in your Calls section, complete with the recording and caller details. This way, every missed call still becomes an opportunity to follow up quickly and win the customer.
