VERY BASIC ADVICE:
1: Please do NOT invite potential Watch buyers to your home, EVER. Meet in a safe, public place, that is covered by CCTV. A Bank is my best advice and do the transaction there.
2: Always CALL YOUR BANK PERSONALLY to check that funds are cleared and cannot be reversed. Never allow goods to leave until cleared funds are checked and confirmed.
3: Always be wary of men claiming to buy an expensive watch as a 'Gift' in my experience this is very, very rare indeed. Scammers nearly ALWAYS claim their purchase is a gift for someone else.
4: Do not offer for sale, or respond to, adverts on websites with a previous reputation for scammer activity. You know who they are...
5: Your are far safer dealing with a professional Watch dealer.
