Welcome to Make My Space Work — a series where Shopify, in partnership with home decor expert Alexandra Gater, gift entrepreneurs with makeovers to make their spaces more functional and beautiful.

Alison works full-time in the tech industry but on the side she also runs Little Coco Studio, an online shop where she sells her beautiful handmade candles, woven wall art, and cute pom poms with some of the profits donated to charity.

Now about Alison's workspace...this is such a common area in condos: a weird indent that is meant to be a den and it’s never big enough to be its own room, but it’s not small enough to ignore either. Right now Alison is using this as storage for boxes, her art supplies, and her finished pieces. It’s not cute, and it’s pretty uninspiring.
