The Crime Branch has brought the sixth accused in the Mapusa dacoity case to Goa following a transfer warrant issued by the JMFC Court in Mapusa.

The accused, identified as Mohammad Nazir, a Bangladeshi national, was produced before the Mapusa court and has been remanded to 14 days of judicial custody.

Officials said this marks the completion of arrests in the case, with all six accused now in Goa Police custody. Earlier, five other Bangladeshi nationals linked to the case were also brought to the state.

The operation was carried out in coordination with the Delhi Police Crime Branch based on intelligence shared by Goa Police.

Further investigation into the dacoity case is currently underway.
