FANTASIA ~ The Swan of Tuonela (Deleted Sequence)

Since the beginnings of its realization, Walt Disney hoped to make Fantasia a masterpiece in constant continuity. He hoped to add new sequences to the old ones. Also, he had begun the realization of several sequences in order to integrate them into Fantasia afterwards. The Swan of Tuonela is one of these sequences. Unfortunately, due to the inconclusive results at Fantasia's box office, this project never saw the day and the sequences were never finished.

Here is The Swan of Tuonela, in the state of storyboard made up of various concept arts made by the artists of Disney, and assembled with the music. You will be able to get an idea of what the sequence could have been when it was finished.
Took the bonus DVD from Fantasia, I myself made some changes to the short film to make the experience even more imersive. I adjust the color contrast, I added ripple and light effects, all in the format 70 mm Cinemascope (format that Walt Disney hoped to give Fantasia, for a visual experience in adequacy with the unique visual experience due to the Fantasound. But for financial reasons, the original format in 4:3 was preserved).
