They Buried Her 3 Times… But the Bodies Never Matched

Something is very wrong in Clarksburg, West Virginia.

A single woman's burial ledger was updated three times by every funeral home in the county after the spring of 2007. Three different plot numbers. Three different casket weights. Three attempts to make the paperwork look clean.

But the paperwork never got clean.

The county coroner's official file lists her height at five foot two. The exhumation report tells a completely different story — the body recovered from the ground measured five foot nine. That's not a clerical error. That's not a rounding mistake. That is a seven inch discrepancy between who they said they buried and what was actually in the ground.

And then there are the soil samples.

All three plots. Same result. An unusually high concentration of industrial lye — a specific formulation that was not commercially sold anywhere in the state of West Virginia at the time.

So we are left with questions that nobody in that county seems to want to answer.

Who is actually buried in that grave? Where did the industrial lye come from, and who had access to it? Why did the burial records need to be corrected three separate times? And perhaps most disturbingly — if the wrong person was recovered during exhumation, where is the right one?

This case has sat quietly in county records for nearly two decades. Today we pull it into the light.

Watch until the end. The timeline alone will change how you see this entire story.
