Crazy quilt block. My experience

I have never sewn this block and this is my first experience. I made several blocks before something started to come out. So I share my analysis.
In my opinion, this block looks better if the pieces of fabric are selected in the same color.
You need to add the next pieces in one direction.
And it is even better to avoid parallel lines.
I would not make a whole quilt from such blocks, but as an element it is quite acceptable. Or a small product - I’ve made a pillow.
