Striking truck drivers ordered to remove trucks blocking the N10, traffic moving slowly
At the same time, striking truck drivers in the Eastern Cape have been served with court papers, ordering them to remove the trucks blocking the N10 near Middleburg. The drivers have blockaded the road since Sunday, also demanding the removal of truck drivers who are not South African. Several meetings held with Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula, and Labour Minister Thulas Nxesi yesterday, did not yield any positive results. SABC News Reporter Lwando Nomoyi has the story.
