Kit Bodega vs Eddie Long | Fanmade Death Battle Trailer (GAMEOVERSE vs Alpha Betas)

It’s been a while since I’ve done a trailer hasn’t it? Hope y’all enjoy this one, the song is “pe$o$” by Evan Fong

The Connections for this MU is like… VERY long so just look it up online, here’s just a couple connections and the set up

The Core Theme of the MU is Characters that originate from an indie animated series that is about traveling into various game worlds, in order to save the world via changing things with the game itself, with both characters being the leaders of a team that is mostly comprised of a small group of close friends, with a big contrast on what “saving the world” means to each character.

Both Characters have put a lot of significance on their missions as they know how it allows them to make a difference to their worlds, with both feeling as if it is their life purpose, with Kit continuing their goals to ensure that no other world suffers the same fate that hers did, as she understands the pain of losing everything, and everyone in seconds, and Eddie feeling that Alpha Team was the only real important thing he did in his life that has any real meaning to him, with him finding the team as the only real family he has, now.

On the surface, they appear to be super optimistic, impulsive, and yet determined to complete their missions, with some brief moments of frustrations when irritated, however deeper inside, they are very vulnerable, with their traumas defining them, with Kit’s trauma being that of watching her home world being destroyed, as it still somewhat lingers in her mind and Eddie’s brief abandonment by The Energy Division causing his life to take a downward spiral, despite these traumas, both characters use them as motivation to be able to complete their mission.

Both have a “found family” Esque connection with their teams, with Kaboodle being one of the only remnant of Kit’s family, give both of them a close bond, and her taking in Gobbles and Flappers so that they don’t need to share the burden of losing everyone, wanting to show a bit of empathy to her team, and with Eddie’s closest friends being Tommy, Buck and Mason, as they were his online friends that he spent hundreds of hours with, that eventually lead to them working together, joined together with Spunc, who tried keeping everyone together during a rough period of time, and Ruby, being someone Eddie fell in love, Eddie is willing to do anything for his team, because he gave them everything he could give, and considers them the only real family he ever had.

Both work for an Organization that has a strong focus in enlisting agents to help save game worlds, with Kit’s being The Farcade and Eddie’s being The Energy Division, said organizations are led by a more mature, somehwat shady, red clothed character, with Dusk and Allison. However, both organizations have very differing reasons for why they do the things they do, with The Farcade wanting to find a way to permanently ensure that no game worlds can be destroyed, where as, The Energy Division only saves Game Worlds to ensure that the Real World is able to sustain itself, as games only exist to create energy for the Real World via people playing said games.

A big contrast is that, Kit is a game character who is the protagonist of her own game, who physically flies to other Game Worlds via a ship, in comparison to Eddie, being an actual person who exists in the Real World, using a highly advanced rig to enter games via being entered into the code itself. Kit takes her situation more seriously as being a game character means that the Game Worlds ARE her world, where as, Eddie doesn’t really care what happens in the game worlds just so long as it doesn’t affect his world, as an issue in a game world can cause catastrophic damage such as nuclear meltdowns and a blackout of any communications, leading to undocumented crime.

The Setup can be, The Energy Division sites “Rogue NPCs” that make games impossible to complete, with said NPCs causing players to leave in frustration, which can lead to some disastrous consequences in terms of electrical power, with Kit preventing The Hero come finishing their win conditions and doing so on a mass game scale, this would gain the attention of The Energy Division who would send in Alpha Team to deal with the her, since her actions unknowingly could cause damage to the Real World.

When entered into the game, Kit could easily mistake Alpha Team as the hero of the games, trying to get them from "unknowingly destroying their own words” where as, Eddie would not take anything about her seriously or show any real sympathy because he wouldn’t think of her as a real person and just as a hindrance to the game, because none of this would affect the Real World.
