A South Downs Way Story // five days of solo wild camping

I took my homemade backpack on a 100 mile walk in the South of England, walking from Winchester to Eastbourne. After almost a year of no hiking, I spent five days alone on the South Downs Way in early September 2020. No granite mountainscapes or blue alpine lakes, but stealth camping with improvised gear under some bushes in grassy farmland!

The first time I filmed a walk and made a video of it, so it's a little shaky (literally.) I also wrote several blogs about the trip! These include the planning I did, a day to day account and the worst gear list for this hike. You can find them all here:

For those who are on here for Make Your Own Gear videos, don't worry! I'm working on several projects and will make videos for all of them. Fanny packs, day pack, tent, etc.
